Overview
========
MonitorTest is a tool that allows users to investigate the quality
and performance of their computer monitor or flat panel screen.
For more details see the included help file.

Status
======
This is a shareware program.
This means that you need to buy it if you would like
to continue using it after the evaluation period.

Installation
============
- Uninstall any previous version of MonitorTest
- Double click (or Open) the downloaded ".exe" file
- Follow the prompts

Upgrades from old versions
==========================
If you are upgrading from any previously purchased  version of MonitorTest, a new license key will be required. This is a free upgrade. You can 
pick up your new key here,

UnInstallation
==============
Use the Windows control panel, Add / Remove Programs


Requirements
============
- Operating System: XP, 2003 Server, Vista, 2008 Server, Windows 7,8, 8.1, 10(*)
- RAM: 128Meg
- Disk space: 4 Meg of free hard disk space to install the software

(*) The touch test is only available under Windows 7, 8, 8.1 & 10

Heres a summary of all the changes that have been made in

1/March/2018 v3.2 build 1006
 - Added 64bit executable to installer
 - Changed help format so it will work in Win10

5/October/2016 v3.2 build 1005
- Added an EXIT command to the scripting
- MonitorTest will now set the program exit code based on the number of errors logged during the touch screen testing (0 for success)
- Fixed a bug where if a touch screen test was first in a script it would not get registered to accept touch command correctly and touch would not work
- Fixed a bug where a multi touch test might not be registered to accept multi touch commands correctly when used during a script
- Fixed a bug where a registered version of MonitorTest would display the evaluation version message on a test screen when run as a plugin from BurnInTest

- Will now update the Video Info when a resolution change 
  (that isn't part of a test) takes place after MonitorTest has started 
- The correct resolution should now be displayed when the Windows option 
  "Let me choose one scaling level for all my displays" option is unchecked
- Fixed a registry error message that could be displayed on startup (first 
  seen on Windows 10).
